USA CBD Expo 2020 to Celebrate in Vegas as Hemp Legalization Turns One Year Old

December 18, 2019 14:21:54

Could there be any place better than Vegas to gather for a CBD celebration? No, according to the organizers of USA CBD Expo 2020, the nation’s largest CBD and hemp event. The trade show, scheduled for February 13-15, 2020, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will feature some 500 branded products from more than 300 vendors, including some of the top names in the market.

That’s not all! A number of leading figures from fields as disparate as advertising, agriculture, branding, law and regulations will share their expertise and analyses with attendees. The event will feature countless business and networking opportunities. Discounts on tickets are available for early birds. Now is truly a time for a CBD celebration. One year ago, hemp was freed from the shackles of the Controlled Substances Act. On December 20, 2018, the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, widely referred to as the 2018 Farm Bill, became the law of the land. Now, hemp is regulated as just another agricultural crop. On October 29, the U.S. Department of Agriculture published the rules for growing industrial hemp, one of which is the requirement that growers be licensed or otherwise authorized by state authorities. Industrial hemp is defined in the Farm Bill as cannabis with no more than 0.3% THC, the psychotropic component of the plant, on a dry weight basis.

USA CBD Expo 2020 has something for everyone, whether attendees specialize in retail, cultivation or ancillary services or are there to find out what products will be best for personal use. Products on display will cover the full spectrum of current CBD concoctions, including beverages, edibles, flowers, tinctures, topicals, vapeables and skin-care products. Canine and feline lovers are likely to find something of interest, too.

The lineup of speakers will include Olympic champion Dara Torres, NFL player Kyle Turley, professional racer Matt Hagan, Pothead Haircare CEO Kailyn Lowry, Owner of Bottle and Stone Shayna Taylor, and many more influential figures.
