FinovateSpring Returns to City by the Bay with Renewed Focus on Today’s Disrupters

March 6, 2020 12:53:19

FinovateSpring is returning to San Francisco to convene the fintech community and showcase, once again, the best the industry has to offer. FinovateSpring 2020, another entry in the Finovate series of conferences shining a spotlight on real-world solutions and insights from today’s fintech pioneers, is slated for May 27-29, 2020, at the Hilton in San Francisco’s Union Square.

As the time for the West Coast’s premier fintech event draws near, more than 1,300 professionals and other enthusiasts involved in the space are getting ready to descend on the City by the Bay. These fintech fans will, no doubt, be anticipating the display of demos from over 60 fintechs on their way to disrupting the financial-services industry.

The jam-packed agenda of FinovateSpring 2020 includes a number of engaging episodes. The opening keynote address will focus on ‘Navigating the Big Shift – How Exponential Technologies Are Changing Everything’. That opener will be followed by sessions on unlocking intelligent customer insights and pinpointing the technologies that have the best chance of being truly transformative.

Over 120 influential speakers will deliver presentations on the future of tech, banking, payments, financial crime and SMB financing. This year’s roster includes Amar Ahluwalia, Terry Angelos and Mathieu Auger-Perreault.

Ahluwalia is head of corporate development and partnerships for Coast Capital and has experience in online lending, fixed income, alternative assets, and credit and technology investing and strategy. He currently serves as an advisor at the Holt FinTech Accelerator and FinTech Growth Syndicate and is a board member of the Canadian Lenders Association.

Angelos is SVP and global head of Fintech at Visa, where he is responsible for leading Visa’s global strategy on identifying and creating new payment solutions and capabilities.

Auger-Perreault is director of fraud and security at Javelin Strategy & Research. Before joining Javelin, he was head of financial crime analytics, innovation and automation at the National Bank of Canada.

Startup booster tickets that cover all three days and include access to exclusive content and networking opportunities for early-stage companies are now available. Registration is now open at http://ccw.fm/y2fHX.
