Grow seeds most suitable for your area. Despite its rather quick growing time, farming cannabis can be quite troublesome. The best way to ensure the plants grow healthy is to find genetics that have been bred for the area you will farm in. The genetics will be best adapted to environmental factors like climate and soil. As Nikki Lastreto, one of the brains behind Swami Select says, choosing genetics means finding the seeds bred in your area.
Accept the results. At the end of the day, those seeds are in the ground and once they do, you lose any control you had. While you can ensure the plant is adequately nourished and protected as it grows, how it turns out will largely depend on the genetics you chose. Cannabis is especially tricky as a single plant has both male and female genders, so their final genders will be a surprise to you. Although some companies sell feminized seeds that produce pollen sacks instead of flowers and then pollinate the female plant with the female pollen, Lastreto says she prefers being surprised by unfeminized seeds.
