The production campaign follows the recent achievement of Class A ASTM E84 and NFPA 286 fire safety certifications and is intended to fulfill sample requests from multiple leading homebuilders and commercial construction firms evaluating the product for future projects.
Xeriant said the production run will supply NEXBOARD panels for testing, demonstrations and product assessments by prospective customers, several of whom have engaged with the company for years and may now be positioned for more advanced order discussions. The company said growing interest has been driven by NEXBOARD’s fire resistance, moisture protection and sustainability profile as an alternative to drywall, plywood, OSB, MDF and MgO board, while NEXPATCH(TM), its fire- and water-resistant finishing compound, also remains part of the DUREVER product line.
